Erik Alvarado

Violist Erik Alvarado is 17 years old and started playing viola at the age of 12. He received a gold in State Solo and Ensemble and secured a spot in All District Full Orchestra last school year. One of his most memorable experiences was performing alongside Jordan Bak at the Folly Theater. Additionally, he’s received master classes from Susie Yang, Zsolt Eder, Dmitri Atapine, and Alla Wijnands. He is currently studying privately under the guidance of Alyssa Bell and Filip Lazovski.
